about

"Champagne in Heaven" is a song dedicated to my grandfather Gordon Macintyre. My dad asked me to perform a song for my grandfathers funeral in October 2016 so I wrote this as a summary of my relationship with him. Gordon was a true bon vivant who enjoyed the finer things in life. He wasn't afraid to be different and as a consequence upset a lot of people throughout his life.
Caught between being flamboyant, opera and classical music fanatic and imperial hard ass head chef.
